Jackson’s Bike School – Besser Biken Auf Nassen Trails!

Jackson Goldstone ist zurück mit der 3. Episode seiner Bike School.

Brandon Semenuks – RAW 100 Version 6

When it gets to taking on a blank canvas and turning it into something grand, Brandon Semenuk is never the one too shy away from the challenge. His unapologetic riding style & devotion towards perfection have risen the aesthetic benchmarks of raw mountain biking cinematography time and time again.

In his sixth contribution to the Raw 100 series Brandon shakes up an abandoned mine in Merritt, British Columbia. As always Rupert Walker and Revel Co. had been there to catch everything on tape. 🎥

Tom Van Steenbergen – Wild West

adidas 5.10 Presents ‘Wild West’ Starring Tom Van Steenbergen

Tom Van Steenbergen unleashes an onslaught of creativity both on and off the bike in his most important project to date ‘Wild West’. From unique features to first time tricks, Tom’s creative freedom was let loose like never before. The end result is 2 and a half minutes of Tom’s most ambitious freeride and slopestyle riding to date.

Filmed in Oliver, BC, “Wild West’ is visual representation of Tom’s personality on and off the bike, brought to life by director Calvin Huth. Over a 6 week period of building, testing and experimenting with multiple world firsts tricks, ‘Wild West’ leaves nothing on the table.

Having first met in Whistler shooting for dirt diaries, Calvin and Tom had an instant rapport and have sort to work together ever since. ‘Wild West’ is a coming together of their creativity like never before.

“I put everything I had into this project, adidas 5.10 gave me the freedom to make the project I wanted to make and the time I needed to push my riding in the way I knew I could. I’ve put it all out there in ‘Wild West’ and hope that it gets people excited to ride” – Tom Van Steenbergen

Nico Vink – From The Ash

A decade ago, director Ryan Gibb released Life Cycles, a masterpiece of a mountain biking film. A sequel never materialized, and he spent the next few years working on commercial projects. Then, in late 2018 Gibb made a return to the MTB world, traveling to New Mexico’s Philmont Scout Ranch for an ambitious shoot featuring Nico Vink. Watch Vink shred through embers and ash in the short film From the Ash, Directed by Ryan Gibb and produced by Teton Gravity Research.

Disclaimer: This short film was made on private property in a burn scar — no healthy forests were lit on fire. In May of 2018 the Ute Park wildfire burnt 36,740 acres; a large swath of it was on the Philmont Scout Ranch. Thank you to the Boy Scouts of America for allowing us to film on location at Philmont. Everything was shot in a controlled setting on private land during the winter in a recently scorched wildfire area. The crew was under the supervision of forestry professionals to ensure everything was executed safely. There wasn’t a single live tree touched throughout our entire production.

Thank you to the men and women who put their lives at risk fighting real wildfires around the world. Please be responsible this wildfire season.

Ride Or Die – For Riders, By Riders

VIDEO: George Brannigan gets rowdy in the Les Gets Backcountry

George ‘Grylls’ Brannigan has been visiting Morzine to use as a base for World Cup racing for nearly a decade now. An animal on any bike, it’s awesome to see him make his back to the pointy end of the field after a couple of years on the wrong side of injuries.

VIDEO: CUBE Factory Racing welcomes Danny Hart

Two-time World Champion Danny Hart signs with the new CUBE Factory Racing! 29-year-old Danny Hart exploded onto the elite downhill scene with his now-legendary gold run at the 2011 World Championships. Hailing from Redcar on England’s north-east coast, the two-time UCI Downhill World Champion has multiple World Cup wins under his belt. Fondly known as the Redcar Rocket, Hart has made a name for himself as unstoppable on treacherously steep tracks in muddy conditions. In 2019 Danny finished on the podium at every round of the World Cup. Starting 2021, Danny, who with his wife Sophia has just welcomed a baby daughter, will ride for the CUBE Downhill Factory Team under a long-term contract.

The internet may have just repaired itself from Sam Hill’s breaking it last week. We’re stoked Sam’s staying with Nukeproof for another 3 years (minimum). Probably time to show him riding the new Mega:

With Sam was absent from the 2020 Enduro World Series rounds, he’s not been in full feet up mode, although it has been nice for him to “relax” and enjoy a full year at home with his young family for the first time in his illustrious career. The V4 Mega is a ground up design and Sam’s been out to ensure the bike is dialled for the 2021 season. He’s even been putting in times against the clock (and winning) at his local Western Australia Gravity Series. With Sam taking a hattrick of Enduro World Series titles on the Mega V3, the V4 Mega had some big shoes to fill. But the redesigned V4 Mega has allowed our engineers to implement some fresh thinking and changes on both 27.5” and 29” platforms. Geometry changes, all new linkage and suspension curve and a full carbon frame (with a fully optimised carbon layup).

Sam’s weapon of choice is again will again be the Mega 290c, seen here built to Team Chain Reaction Cycles-Nukeproof spec featuring components from a full selection of Nukeproof & Sam Hill Signature components along with Sram’s AXS set up, Rockshox ZEB fork, MRP AMG guide and DH22 rubber from Michelin.

“My initial impression of the new (V4) Mega is how quick and positive it feels to change lines and direction on the trails. The changes also make it feel a lot more playful to ride, but really stable when you’re going fast.”- Sam Hill

The new 2021 Mega: Race Proven.

Filmed in Western Australia at the awesome Linga Longa. Taking on some of his favourite enduro and downhill trails. For those that may not have been to this area, the park is pretty remote, situated about 3 hours from Perth, towards the southernmost tip of Western Australia. Originally the land was bought in 2012 as a family retreat by owner Boxer (as he put it “to run wild and free”). As a relative local Sam has been instrumental in helping design and build in the park along with hundreds of volunteers. What they have created is a little piece of MTB paradise, well worth a visit https://www.lingalongabikepark.com

Hard for it to be kept a secret with @robwarner970 on the mic!! 🙈 Looking forward to throwing my leg over the new toy and getting back between the tape with @cube.factoryracing for the 2021 season and beyond. – Danny Hart

Welcome Danny Hart 🔥

Two-time Downhill World Champion @dannyhart1 signs with the new @cube.factoryracing team and will ride the TWO15 and Stereo 170 for 2021 and beyond.

“I’m stoked on the new team and the bike. The first tests with the TWO15 were super promising and I can’t wait to be out there racing on it. I was welcomed into the CUBE family straight away and really felt at home,” says the CUBE Factory Racing rider. – Cube
